The music world would like to announce the birth of BIG BABIES. In the past, they have been known as Funtown, the versatile party/spoof band featuring tongue-in-cheek music and impersonations of Marvin, Michael, Buddy, B-Elvis, Moronna, Alice Blooper, Willie Nelson and his good friend Mr. Julio BigLazyazz plus many more.

Funtown has been around for over 10 years they've come a long way. From clubs to corporate gigs to festivals, they've played in just about every corner of Michigan. Past festival gigs have covered many interests and most food groups. Nautical, Strawberry, Gladiola, Bologna, Lighthouse, Canoe, you name it. They've been the perennial Woodward Cruise entertainment at Duggan's, played for George W. at OCC - Orchard Ridge, did a gig for the 'Supremes' (Michigan Supreme Court justices) and have shared the stage with Ricky Nelson, Roy Orbison, Jefferson Starship, Drifters, Platters, and many more. Like I said, they've been around.

The gestation of original musical ideas has come full term from this talented, unique litter of dawgs. It's not that they don't enjoy playing covers and doing spoofs, but the need to create original music finally won out. All the passion and wackiness is still there but it now has the signature of BIG BABIES. Roni on bass, Rick on guitar, Troy on drums and Mark on keys.
